Congratulations on Beginning Your Life as a Non-Smoker!

YOU MUST HAVE SOMEONE DRIVE YOU HOME AFTER YOUR TREATMENT!

You will be given a prescription for medications that you will take for the next two weeks.  They will prolong the treatment and make sure you do not experience the irritability, urges or cravings to smoke during the withdrawal period.  We will also provide you with literature that outlines the  we discussed at the clinic.

After the treatment, the most common side effects may include some or none of the following:  light-headedness, dizziness, dry mouth, nose and throat, altered sense of taste and smell, constipation, and slightly blurred vision when focusing at different distances.  Driving is not allowed for 12 hours.  Visit Medline Plus for additional information about the medicines.

When you awaken in the morning, side effects should have markedly improved and

you should have minimal to no physical craving for that first cigarette.
